Our Story

     CRosSWILD started off as a guy’s bible study led by Roshad in the “upper room” of the house of one of his students in the Calvary Chapel Tallahassee youth group.  They spent time learning God’s word in very practical ways, while also having a great time.  They not only studied the Word, but also lived out their faith in their everyday lives in such a way that people were drawn to Christ.  Through them, Christians and non-Christians began to see God in a whole new way.  Quickly realizing that they had something that God was blessing, Roshad felt led to grow it into something even bigger. He called the group CRosSWILD, which is an acronym for the names of the founding members.   In 2008 the first weekend retreat, appropriately themed “Revolution,” was launched.  There were around 70 kids that attended the very first camp and not only did they have a great time, they left inspired to change the world around them.  Since then, God has done so much in such a short time.  Three years later, almost 300 students attended our weekend retreat.  We have also expanded to weeklong summer camps, worship conferences, one-day events and college retreats, with so much more to come.  God is doing amazing things through CRosSWILD and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for the future.
