Roshad Thomas


Roshad is an exceptional speaker, counselor, and mentor for teens and parents of all races and cultures. He has spoken at numerous youth camps, retreats and seminars and has the unparalleled ability to quickly connect, whether it is with one person or hundreds. His laid back and humorous style, allows him to explain God’s word in a way that brings the bible to life in the hearts of teens and adults alike.

Having been on the front lines as a high school guidance counselor for 10 years, Roshad is familiar with the issues that teens are dealing with on a daily basis and is able to show them how God’s word is relevant in every situation they encounter. His love and excitement for the scriptures and all of God’s children coupled with his Godly wisdom allow him to deliver a message in a way that is not quickly forgotten.

William Colle

William Colle

William has served in the ministry as a worship leader, youth leader and graphic artist for most of his adult life. After high school he attended Calvary Chapel School of Worship and Calvary Chapel Bible College in Southern California earning his Bachelors Degree in Biblical Theology. His desire to see young men and women grow into Godly men and women has led him back home to Tallahassee, FL.

Over the past four years William has helped CRosSWILD put on two spring retreats, a summer camp and multiple outreaches. His hard work ethic, willing heart and creative mind make him a valuable part of the CRosSWILD team. Recently William married his best friend, Jul, and is excited about living happily ever after.

Ben Kaempfer


Ben Kaempfer serves as a lead teacher and organizational visionary to CRosSWILD, helping students to be empowered by God’s word and Spirit to fulfill the dynamic call He has placed on their lives. His passion is to see a generation of students fall wildly in love with Jesus Christ and to watch that overflow into a life of service.

While maintaining this position at CRosSWILD, Ben serves as the lead pastor at Downtown Community Church (DCC) in Tallahassee, FL. Prior to DCC Ben held positions at Killearn Lakes UMC as the youth pastor, First Baptist of Tallahassee as the associate youth pastor and Killearn United Methodist as a high school intern. Additionally, Ben was the president of Leon High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), as well as going on to become the president of the Florida State University’s FCA.

Ben earned his B.S. from Florida State University in 2008. He is excited to be apart of the movement that CRosSWILD has become, and continues to be motivated to see students across cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds follow after Jesus with complete abandon for themselves. Ben also married his lovely wife Lindsey in January of 2012.

Billy Humphrey


Billy has been passionate about serving the youth of Tallahassee and surrounding areas since he gave his life to Christ in 2006. It is his desire to spread the Gospel to young students through leading by example in his everyday life in hopes that they, too, may find Jesus at such a crucial stage in every teens life.
In the past, Billy has been an intern for the youth groups of Calvary Chapel, Crawfordville UMC and has served as the youth pastor at Wakulla UMC. He is currently the Youth Pastor at DLUMC and a recent graduate of the Florida State University, majoring in both International Affairs and Religion.

Sarah Burke


From leading worship to leading small groups to working with graphic media and design, Sarah has been a big part of CRosSWILD since 2008. She is a Tallahassee native and graduate of Florida State, where she majored in Social Science. Sarah is also a graduate of Ocean’s Edge School of Worship where she studied musical worship and ministry leadership. In addition to her work with CRosSWILD, she also helps run another student ministry called Love at Work, which is based in Gadsden County and focused on the serving aspect of the Christian calling. Sarah is passionate about what we do and loves getting to see kids come to know the Lord and grow deeper in their faith, becoming disciples and making disciples.

Keely Smith


Keely works closey with the selection process and training of our volunteer small group leaders, as an administrative assistant and with spiritual development of high schools girls.

Keely first got involved in CRosSWILD when she came as a student and was greatly impacted by the relationships she build with her leaders. This encouraged her to become a part of youth ministry immediately upon high school graduation. She intered with Calvary Chapel’s youth group for two years and is now currently interning with Downtown Community Church’s youth group.

Keely attends Florida State University and is working towards a Masters degree in Exceptional Student Education. She is able to apply this knowledge to work closely with the parents of students, and students themselves with special needs, who attend CRosSWILD camps and events.

Jul Colle


Jul is the wife of William and has been involved in CRosSWILD from the very beginning. Throughout the years she has served as a small group leader, administrator and program assistant. Her heart is to see students come to know Christ and live their lives fully for Him. Jul graduated from Florida State University School of Nursing in December of 2009.

Micah Andrews


Micah has been involved in youth ministry since 2008 and has served as a youth intern at Calvary Chapel working especially with middle school students.  He has also been involved with CRosSWILD since his senior year of high school and has also gained valuable experience as a counselor and then an age group director for four summers at Camp Ridgecrest for Boys, a Christian camp in Black Mountain, NC.  Micah loves seeing the impact Christ has on the lives of students and the relationships he builds through ministry.  He will be graduating from Florida State University in 2012 with a degree in Sport Management and plans to continue his education in grad school while working with CRosSWILD.
